Article 1 Registration

1.1 You are registering for an activity by way of a letter, fax, e-mail or through the internet. Or you are registering someone else as a participant by way of a letter, fax, e-mail or through the internet.

1.2 You receive a confirmation of the registration by way of a letter or e-mail from Definest. By sending this letter or e-mail the agreement of participation becomes final.

1.3 The registration occurs in the order received.

Article 2 Payment terms

2.1 After the confirmation of registration, you will recieve the invoice and the workshop information . The invoice will be paid by you on or before the expiration date which is mentioned on the invoice.

Article 3 Cancellation or change by the participant

3.1 The participant can cancel or change the registration as per the following conditions:
a. Your cancellation or change of registration must be delivered in written by letter, fax or e-mail.
b. We charge a €20,00 administration and reservation fee in the case of changes or cancellations. In the case where the participation costs are less than €20,00 then no refund will be possible. (Not applicable to multi-day activities . See Article 3.1 d.-e.).
c. In the case of cancellation or change within one week or 168 hours prior to the start of the workshop, you will be charged the entire amount. (Not applicable to multi-day activities. See article 3.1 d.-e.).
d. When cancelling up to 30 days prior to the start of a multi-day workshop; you are liable for the deposit payment.
e. When cancelling 29 days or less, prior to the start of a multi-day workshop; you are liable for the entire participation cost.

3.2 Article 3.1 can be deviated from in the case of calamities, these are to be evaluated by Definest.

3.3 If you are not able to make it, then you are allowed, 24 hours prior to the start of a workshop, to send a replacement (a different person attending in your place). You will provide Definest with the name of this replacement person 24 hours prior to the start of the workshop in written by letter, fax or e-mail.

3.4 In the case you are not able to make it and you did not cancel and you did not send a replacement then you are liable for the entire participation cost.

Article 4 Cancellation by Definest

4.1 Definest has the right to cancel a workshop. The participants will receive a message about this prior to the start of the workshop. If possible a fitting alternative will be offered. If the participant will make use of this then the payment for participation will not be refunded. In other cases the amount will be refunded.

Article 5 General

5.1 The workshop is organized by Definest or by representatives of Definest.

Article 6 Liability

6.1 Definest and representatives of Definest are fully exempt of liability for theft or loss of goods and/or personal injury incurred prior, during and after the participation of a workshop.

6.2 Each form of liability is limited to the invoice amount.

Article 7 Applicable law

7.1 Dutch Law is exclusively applicable to all agreements.

Article 8 Changes

8.1 All listed prices are subject to errors and changes.

8.2 These general conditions are applicable as of January 13th, 2009. These will remain valid up to that time when Definest will indicate, in written, changes in the general conditions.
